Schedule:

Night shift, 8-12 hours per day Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Controls Engineers for a 1-2 month automation and controls project in Lafayette, IN. This is a great opportunity for a skilled Controls Engineer with strong Rockwell Automation experience who is comfortable working night shift in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Rockwell Studio 5000 v38 experience is required. Travel & Per Diem $197 per day per diem ($1,386per week) paid for all days while traveling. When traveling, your time is compensated at your regular hourly rate If traveling by personal vehicle, mileage will be reimbursed at $0.76 per mile If traveling by air, the flight will be provided, with reimbursement for rental car and fuel Key Responsibilities Program, troubleshoot, modify, and optimize PLC control systems Troubleshoot automation and controls issues in a manufacturing environment Support automated material handling, transfer, and production systems Diagnose electrical and controls issues to minimize equipment downtime Calibrate and integrate sensors, transducers, and other control devices Assist with system startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and modifications Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC programs, and control system documentation Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to identify and resolve controls-related issues Qualifications Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in an industrial or manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with Rockwell Studio 5000 Version 38 (v38) - required Strong Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming and troubleshooting experience Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment Ability to work independently and troubleshoot controls issues efficiently Comfortable working night shift and 8-12 hour shifts Previous experience with material handling or automated production systems is a plus Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance If you're an experienced Controls Engineer with Rockwell Studio 5000 v38 experience and are available for a short-term night-shift project in Lafayette, IN, apply today! #skilltravel
