Keep Production Moving in Carrollton, GA Step into a large industrial manufacturing environment where your expertise in electrical systems, controls, and PLC-driven machinery keeps lines running. As an experienced Electrical Technician, you'll be the first call when equipment goes down—laptop in hand, connecting to PLCs, tracing logic, and restoring uptime. A Day in the Life The line stops. You arrive, connect via Ethernet or wireless, open the existing PLC program, and trace logic to pinpoint the fault. You confirm the issue in the control circuit, swap and configure a drive, or make a minor logic tweak, and production is back online. Then you coordinate with the shift supervisor to prioritize the next call or open work order. What You'll Own Rapid response to electrical and controls-related breakdowns across the facility Direct PLC connections via laptop (Ethernet or wireless) to diagnose issues Troubleshooting of Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs (with approximately 80% of systems being Siemens) Reviewing PLC logic to identify root causes and verify corrections Hands-on control circuit troubleshooting to isolate failures Replacing drives/VFDs and downloading/configuring parameters for replacements Implementing minor PLC logic changes when required for troubleshooting Partnering with the shift supervisor to triage breakdowns and manage work orders Owning assigned equipment and work orders, solving problems independently Collaborating closely with the maintenance team to maintain reliable production Role Focus This position is 100% electrical/PLC-focused. Mechanical issues are handled by dedicated mechanical technicians. This is not a PLC programming role—you will use existing programs for troubleshooting and only make minor logic adjustments as needed. What You Bring Experience as an Electrical Technician, Controls Technician, or similar industrial maintenance role Background in an industrial manufacturing environment Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment Ability to connect to and navigate Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs Skill in reading and understanding PLC logic for diagnostics Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical/control circuits Experience working with drives/VFDs Confidence in independently resolving equipment breakdowns Strong problem-solving capabilities with a root-cause mindset
