Electrical & Controls Technician Manufacturing Plant | Macon, Georgia We are actively recruiting a Electrical & Controls Technician to join a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Macon, Georgia. What You'll Get Competitive pay: $31.254 - $42.596/hr (based on experience, qualifications, and certifications) Excellent benefits: health, dental, life & disability insurance, 401(k) match, paid vacation, tuition and wellness reimbursement, and more Career growth: Advancement opportunities driven by initiative, performance, and learning—not just seniority What You'll Do Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair advanced papermaking and packaging equipment Work with high-speed servo drives, PLCs, motion control systems, and robotics Support safe, efficient, and high-quality operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment What You Bring Education & Experience Associate's degree or certification in Electrical, or Journeyman status 1+ year of relevant experience preferred Manufacturing experience is a plus Technical Skills Experience or working knowledge in: Electrical power distribution PLCs AC & DC drives DCS systems Motion and motor control systems Control and communication networks Hydraulic & pneumatic systems Robotics and industrial instrumentation (nice to have) Professional Strengths Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Safety- and quality-focused with excellent attendance Comfortable working at heights and in hot or dusty environments Team-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven Eager to learn, grow, and take accountability Comfortable using computers and system interface software Candidates will be evaluated on math skills, reading comprehension, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and overall approach to safety and teamwork.
Pay:
$31.00 - $42.59 per hour
