Hines Precision Inc, a local manufacturer of high volume precision metal stampings and machined components, serving the global automotive, electronics, and consumer goods industries, seeks a highly motivated and experienced PLANT ELECTRONICS and
CONTROLS TECHNICIAN
(4+ Electronics Experience).
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Perform planned and preventative maintenance on machine controls, sensors, and instrumentation. Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic circuits to the component level. Troubleshoot and be capable of improvements to PLC systems, and machine controls. Expert in the use of a variety of test equipment. Proficiency in reading and understanding drawings, sketches, and schematics. Understand and practice safely around power circuits up to and including 3-phase 480VAC. Ensure the completion of associated paperwork, records, logs, and reports; ability to document modifications to circuits, settings, and (in instance of PLC work) ladder logic.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Minimum 4-6 years of experience in electronics field, working with plant electronics, PLCs, machine controls, and electrical apparatus troubleshooting, and maintenance; is preferred. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Predictive/Preventative Maintenance, is preferred. Competence with Microsoft Word and Excel and use of project planning software is a plus. This position will be principally day shift, with the occasional on-call support; must be able to work overtime, as needed.
