makes it happen! Job Responsibilities Active Leader for Environment, Health & Safety actions, and policies. Mentor E&C Technicians on shift, ability to teach and train personnel. Shift Subject Matter Expert for all electrical and automation systems and components. Diagnoses and isolates advanced automation equipment system. Adapts to new and changing technology. Responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing equipment optimization projects. Utilize data historian system to identify opportunities for optimization and implement system changes to increase system productivity. Assist and learn the development and implementation of work procedures, PMs and LOTO. Participate in 5S, Lean MFG, and any other continuous improvement activities. Participate in "Root Cause Analysis" meetings to determine and rectify problematic issues in the process. Be an active participant in developing and maintaining a culture of professionalism. At all times follow all company rules, policies, and expectations. Job Requirements High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate required Post-secondary diploma or degree in a technical field is preferred 3-5 Years minimum Manufacturing. Prior Siemens
PLC, HMI & VFD
experience is a plus. Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (SAP). Strong safety awareness and experience. Seamless Pipe Mill Experience a huge plus. Understand automation equipment, including PLC, HMI, and industrial networks. Understand data acquisition systems such as IBA. Understand the various signals involved in automation that will be required, such as encoders, load cells, 4 to 20ma, 0 to 10 vdc, etc. Experience with variable frequency drives and understand the theory of operation of the various subsystems.
