Description:
We are an established and growing service provider working with a national customer base to provide machinery safety solutions to a variety of industries. Our products & services include machinery safety upgrades and a variety of safety-related solutions like safety assessments, lockout tagout, and safety validations . We are searching for (and will fully train) individuals to assist with project deliverables.Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and build of machinery safety systems, including controls, interlocks, light curtains, scanners, safety mats, hydraulic safety valves, pneumatic safety valves etc.
- Build electrical control panels and integrate/test with their related safety devices.
- Field installations and/or supervision of installation teams at customer locations.
- Travel required (Up to 50%).
- Perform safety assessments at customer facilities and write reports after returning home.
- Safety system testing, start-ups, safety validations and on-site troubleshooting
- Communication with your project team that inspires confidence in your ability to provide customer solutions. Qualifications (must have all of the following):
- Knowledge of machinery safety techniques, safety circuits and their application.
- Read and understand electrical schematics.
- Understanding of lockout / tagout procedures
Minimum High School Diploma Required Skills:
- Interpreting electrical prints/diagrams and strong technical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (specifically Word, Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Skills/Certifications:
- Experience with industrial machines as a maintenance technician, troubleshooter or other
- Experience with industrial controls/PLC' s
- Some AutoCAD skills would be a bonus (but will train).
