Education & Experience High school diploma or technical degree in Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Technician. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings. Electrical & Controls Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 480V three-phase power. Experience troubleshooting electrical control circuits, relays, contactors, sensors, switches, and safety devices. Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation. Experience with VFDs, motor controls, and variable-speed systems. Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults using a multimeter and other electrical test equipment. Experience working with control panels and electrical components. Ability to identify electrical problems and determine the appropriate corrective action. Pneumatics Working knowledge of industrial pneumatic systems. Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic valves, cylinders, solenoids, regulators, sensors, and air circuits. Ability to read and understand basic pneumatic schematics. Mechanical & Maintenance General knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and preventive maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical problems related to motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hoists, and other industrial equipment. Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Ability to work independently and respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner. AutoCAD & Computer Skills Basic to intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD for viewing, modifying, and creating electrical drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office , including: Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook Ability to document maintenance activities, troubleshooting results, and equipment modifications. Additional Skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read technical manuals and equipment documentation. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Ability to work with remote technical support when required. Willingness to learn new equipment, technologies, and control systems. Ability to work safely and follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Ability to work effectively with maintenance, engineering, and production teams. Willingness to travel occasionally for field service work. Preferred Qualifications Experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial automation . Experience with Demag, Gorbel or other industrial hoists/cranes . Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation & Siemens systems. Experience troubleshooting 24VDC control systems . Experience with industrial networking and communication systems. Experience creating or modifying electrical schematics in AutoCAD. Electrical or industrial maintenance certifications.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
