Keep reading. ProMach's Brenton is currently seeking a Controls Technician to commission, test and debug packaging/palletizing/stretch wrapping equipment. Provide electrical and controls support to Mechanical leads, Service Department and Brenton customers. Are you motivated about this work?
- Troubleshoot PLC, Robotic and HMI programs for new and retrofit projects.
- Work with electrical designers on updates electrical schematics.
- Commission, test and debug robotic systems at Brenton facility.
- Ensure Brenton electrical standard are followed in controls designs.
- Provide technical support for customers both in the field and telephone troubleshooting.
- Domestic and International travel for machine installation support as required (up to 35% at times) If this sounds like you, we want to connect!
- Knowledge of components including Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, misc I/O devices, VFDs, servos, HMIs, pneumatics, safety circuits, vision and various industrial networks.
- Experience in Allen Bradley programming software RsLogix500, RsLogix5000 and FactoryTalk Studio ME.
- Ability to understand electrical schematics and read 2D & 3D AutoCad mechanical drawings.
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written form.
- Ability to work independently and well with others.
- Ability to work in Microsoft's Office products (Word & Excel) What's in it for you?
