Chanhassen Plant, MN:
Controls Electricians are responsible for supporting, creating, integration, troubleshooting and improving a variety of processing/packaging controls systems including Wonderware, and PLC.
Shift hours:
12-hour shifts•2 on followed by 2 off, 3 on followed by 2 off, 2 on followed by 3 off 6:00 am to 6 pm 6:00 pm to 6 am Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend Cycle length is 2 weeks Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and emergency events OT Rate of 1.5 of payrate after 40 hours Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days per week
Pay:
$39.74 per hour to start (Control Tech 1) $43.55 per hour after completion of required training (Control Tech 2) $46.24 per hour after completion of required training (Control Tech 3) Shift differential•Night Shift $1.00 per hour when working between the hours of 6pm•6am

RIGHT and gain skills to take with you to your next opportunity Allen Bradley, Wonderware, PLCs, Drives, Motors Utilizing electronic work order system to log completed/missed work Reading and updating electrical and control schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams Providing technical support/skills for equipment troubleshooting and controls/equipment modifications Performing uptime and downtime, preventative electrical maintenance Understanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why) Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance Lead new hire onboarding plans What you have to offer: Minimum of a high school education or GED Tech school diploma and 2 years of experience in related field or equivalent experience in a related field preferred Electrical/ Controls experience may include plant power distribution, plant equipment controls and plant electrical support Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
