Real training. Big opportunity. JDB Compliance Services, LLC is a fast-growing low voltage construction contractor serving clients across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. We are seeking a skilled Building Controls Technician to install, program, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair building automation systems (BAS). The ideal candidate has experience with commercial building controls, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Program and troubleshoot DDC controllers and BAS software. Diagnose and repair communication networks, sensors, actuators, and controllers. Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades. Read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and sequence of operations. Respond to service calls and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records. Work with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure successful project completion. Follow all company safety policies and applicable codes. Requirements 5 years of experience with building automation (required) Knowledge of DDC systems and protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks. Experience with manufacturers such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Trane, or Automated Logic is a plus. Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
