FT As an Electrical Controls Maintenance Technician, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, modify, and repair complex automated production equipment while supporting both electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities in PLCs, automation controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and injection molding equipment. The technician will also function as a technical leader on the floor by supporting operators, assisting maintenance staff, minimizing downtime, and helping improve equipment reliability and production output.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Read and interpret control schematics, ladder diagrams, and wiring prints Troubleshoot and modify PLC-controlled automation equipment Work with: Allen Bradley PLCs AutomationDirect PLCs Sensors Motor controls Drives and automation systems Install and modify electrical control circuitry Perform preventative maintenance and equipment calibration Support injection molding production equipment and automation systems Diagnose chronic equipment failures and implement corrective actions Maintain MRO spare parts inventory Assist operators and production teams to maximize quality and output Maintain HVAC, boiler, and chilled water systems Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and skyjacks safely Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications:
