Controls and Automation Technician SHIFT:
Night Shift:
Sunday-Thursday nights | 8:00 PM-6:00 AM Must be able to work night shift. Job Description Oversees and performs electrical repairs on production facility equipment and building.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Performs electrical preventative and repair maintenance on support equipment generators, boilers, compressors, production equipment. Installation of new equipment. Diagnose problems and repair PM/Work order systems. Periodic inspection of 120V, 240V, and 480V three phase. Identifies and maintains parts needed for support functions. Diagnose and Repair equipment using PLC Logic. Work with local and OEM venders to research various parts or troubleshooting procedures. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED and five (5) years industrial maintenance experience. One (1) year pf PLC and VFD troubleshooting experience. State Certified Limited Electrical Contractor license. Maintenance troubleshooting experience. Knowledge of fabricating, electrical, pneumatics, welding and rigging. Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. Rockwell software training preferred. Knowledge of all aspects of bottling including water treatment, batching, refrigeration, blending, and filling systems preferred. Good Machine Shop skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work the hour necessary to complete assigned tasks.
ESSENTIAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
Mental Functions Non-repetitive and somewhat diversified job requiring continuous mental alertness or very close visual attention. Physical Functions Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to climb, stand, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds.
EQUIPMENT USED
Welding, Mill, Lathe and Cutting Equipment, forklift, and Basic and Power hand tools.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES
None required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English proficiently. Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer visa sponsorships to candidates.
