Job Description
Job Summary Stowe Technologies designs, manufactures and installs specialized industrial air handlers. We are seeking an experienced electrical controls technician for full-time employment at our manufacturing facility in Yadkinville, NC. Duties Assemble and wire 480v power distribution and low voltage controls panels. Install conduits and run control and power wiring from electrical panels throughout the unit to their respective locations. Install sensors, VFD's, blower motors, exhaust fans and other electrical components and terminate appropriate power and control wiring. Upload programs to PLC controllers and assist in unit commissioning. Assist the other techs with refrigeration, assembly, and fabrication tasks associated with unit manufacturing when necessary. Assist with service calls and unit installations when necessary. Must be reliable and able to work independently and with others. Required Qualifications 3-7 years of experience as an industrial electrician or controls technician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Knowledge of industrial automation systems (preferably Automated Logic) Skilled in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and schematics related to industrial controls. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures relevant to industrial settings. Experience working with low-voltage electrical systems within complex machinery or automation environments. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer service-oriented mindset for internal support roles. Preferred but Non-Essential Qualifications
- Basic understanding of refrigeration circuits and systems.
- Basic fabrication skills: welding, cutting, and bending sheet metal and steel tubing.
- CNC plasma table operation.
- CAD software experience.
