Job Description

Creare seeks a Sensors & Controls Technician to support projects involving instrumentation, embedded sensors, controls hardware, data acquisition systems, and prototype testing. Primary Responsibilities Select, install, calibrate, and maintain sensors, transducers, and data acquisition hardware. Assemble and maintain wiring harnesses, control boxes, electronics enclosures, and instrumentation systems. Assist in developing control hardware setups and automated test sequences. Conduct experiments, verify sensor performance, and troubleshoot signal issues. Record and organize measurement data; assist with analysis and documentation. Collaborate closely with engineers developing systems involving advanced sensing and controls. Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience with sensors, wiring, electronics assembly, or control systems strongly preferred. Familiarity with DAQ systems, signal conditioning, or PLC hardware is a plus. Ability to interpret schematics and create or modify CAD models. Strong organization, communication skills, and mechanical aptitude.
