Join our team as an Automation/Controls Technician and help build, assemble, test, and troubleshoot custom automation equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble automation equipment from drawings and specifications Read and interpret prints, models, and work instructions Assemble mechanical components and machine systems Wire and plumb equipment under engineering guidance Install and troubleshoot sensors, VFDs, and automation devices Assist with machine startup, testing, repair, and troubleshooting Operate machine tools and welding equipment as needed Verify assembly accuracy and inspect completed work Maintain an organized and safe work area Requirements 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, machining, maintenance, automation, or a related field Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read technical drawings and specifications Experience with mechanical assembly and equipment wiring Proficient with hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and quality Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred
