Job Description
Installation, calibration, and repair of electronic flow meters, communication equipment, and LACT Units. Field sampling according to regulatory specifications. H2S monitoring using stain tubes. Installation and testing of automation in regards to the operational controls of measurement devices for wells & production facilities. Installation and configuration of wireless radios. Ability to take on a new project, come up with a solution, and implement ideas. This technician will also work closely with the back office measurement and production accounting teams. Minimum of 3+ years of liquid/gas measurement or field automation within the oil & gas industry is preferred. Experience with various EFM, Rosemount Devices, Freewave & Tropos Radios is a plus. Basic PC, Excel, Word, email, and Internet. Ability to learn multiple software programs used in configuration of field device. Willingness to be on call, and work unscheduled overtime. Work well with other team members, and show a willingness take on new projects. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
