Job Description

An industrial manufacturer in Deer Park is seeking a skilled technician to build, wire, and terminate high- and low-voltage electrical control panels from schematics. You will mount sensors, troubleshoot automated production machinery with engineers, and redline blueprints, requiring experience with AC motors, PLC I/O wiring, and 3-phase power. High SchoolResponsibilities Build and wire electrical control panels from scratch based on schematic drawings. Safely terminate all low-voltage and high-voltage (480V/230V 3-phase) wires back to main panels and junction boxes. Install and mount a variety of industrial automation sensors, including proximity sensors, photo-eyes, laser through-beams, and vision systems. Assist with mechanical assembly, equipment installation, and general facilities maintenance as needed. System Troubleshooting & Quality Control Use diagnostic tools and electrical instruments to identify, isolate, and fix electrical issues alongside Controls Engineers. Carefully review electrical drawings during the build process, catch wiring errors, wire the system correctly, and formally "redline" (document) changes so engineering can update the final drawing sets. Interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) to verify parts and manage components for upcoming builds.
