This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and working directly with customers in the field. What You'll Do As a Building Automation System Integrator, you will be responsible for taking projects from startup through successful customer turnover, including: Programming and configuring building automation and DDC control systems Integrating HVAC equipment, including air handlers, VAV systems, chillers, boilers, pumps, and rooftop units Configuring BACnet, Modbus, and other communication protocols Developing graphics, alarms, trends, schedules, and databases Performing startup, commissioning, testing, and validation of control systems Troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and field communication issues Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequences of operation Working closely with project managers, contractors, facility personnel, and customers Providing customer training and technical support Documenting system configurations and project closeout activities Assisting with system design and project development as needed What We're Looking For Successful candidates typically have: 3+ years of experience working with building automation, DDC controls, or HVAC control systems Strong HVAC systems knowledge and understanding of control sequences Experience programming BAS platforms and controllers Working knowledge of BACnet and Modbus communications Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings Strong customer communication skills A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to local customer sites Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following is highly valued: Tridium Niagara AX/N4 Alerton Johnson Controls Siemens Honeywell Schneider Electric Distech Controls BACnet/IP and MS/TP networks HVAC commissioning Energy management systems Why This Role Is Different This position is ideal for a technician, controls specialist, or integrator who enjoys applying practical knowledge in the field.
