Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL), a leader in the real estate sector, is seeking a dedicated Controls Technician to join our dynamic Facilities and Maintenance team. This role is instrumental in ensuring optimal functioning and maintenance of building control systems including HVAC, lighting, and other automated systems. The Controls Technician will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of these systems, contributing directly to the safety, comfort, and energy efficiency of our properties. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic, pneumatic, and digital control systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC and other building systems. Ensure compliance with all safety and performance standards. Record and manage data from building management systems (BMS) to improve system performance. Collaborate with facility management team and engineers to enhance systems efficiency. Provide technical support and training to other facility staff as needed. Required Skills Proficient in programming and calibrating building control systems Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their operations Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with BMS and automation software Ability to read and interpret system blueprints and schematics
