Pay:

38.00

• 42.00/hr. + Shift Premium on 2nd
• $1.50 + Shift Premium on 3rd
• $1.00 + 1.5 x after 40 hours + Double Time on Sundays + PTO
• Skilled trades get 80 hours (prorated based on hire date) for their first two years, and then when they hit the year of their 3rd anniversary PTO increases by 8 hours that year and every year
• Job Description
• As an Automation Controls Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, vision systems, sensors, safety circuits, and network/communication systems on automated weld cells.

You will diagnose and resolve industrial robot faults, support weld-equipment controls, and make controlled program and parameter changes to ensure efficient production.

• Responsibilities
• + Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, vision systems, sensors, safety circuits, and network/communication systems.

+ Diagnose and resolve industrial robot faults, including teaching and adjusting points, recovering programs, and restoring cells to production. + Support weld-equipment controls, including weld power sources/timers, torch and tip systems, and related automation. + Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC/ladder logic, robot programs, and controls documentation to isolate faults. + Make controlled program and parameter changes under established change control, and validate before returning equipment to production. + Respond rapidly to downtime events, perform structured root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to restore uptime. + Execute preventive (PM) and predictive (PdM) maintenance on controls and automation systems per schedule. + Support new-equipment installation, automation integration, and continuous-improvement projects. + Follow LOTO/energy-control, electrical/arc-flash safety, and all safe work practices.

• The pay range for this position is $38.00
• $45.

00/hr.
