Schedule:
Day shift, Monday-Friday, with occasional evening or weekend events About Us We are a warm, resident-centered Assisted Living and Memory Care community built on exceptional care, strong family relationships, and meaningful daily engagement. Families trust us with some of the most difficult decisions they will ever make — and our Admissions Director is often the first person to earn that trust. We're seeking a motivated, compassionate professional to serve as the welcoming face of our community while driving occupancy growth through relationship-based outreach. Position Summary This dual-role position owns the full admissions journey — from first phone call to move-in day — while also leading external marketing and referral development throughout the Toledo area. You'll split your time between guiding families through an emotional transition with patience and clarity, and building the professional referral network that keeps our community thriving. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable sitting with an overwhelmed family at the kitchen table and walking into a hospital case management office to build a new partnership. Key Responsibilities Admissions & Family Support Respond promptly and warmly to all inquiries and referrals Conduct personalized tours that clearly present our community, services, and memory care programming Guide families through assessments, documentation, financial discussions, and the move-in process Maintain compassionate, consistent communication with families from first contact through move-in and beyond Track leads, tour conversions, and referral sources; report on sales activity and occupancy pipeline External Marketing & Referral Development Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospice providers, physicians, and case managers Conduct regular outreach visits to referral partners on a consistent monthly schedule Represent the community at senior fairs, networking events, and local programs Deliver marketing materials and maintain a visible, trusted presence in the Toledo senior care market Identify and develop new referral sources and partnership opportunities Document all outreach contacts and activity Internal Collaboration Partner closely with nursing, care, and leadership teams to ensure smooth, well-prepared resident transitions Support open houses, community events, and family engagement activities Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM or lead-tracking systems What Success Looks Like Steady occupancy growth and a healthy pipeline of qualified inquiries A strong, active network of professional referral partners Families who feel supported, informed, and confident throughout the admissions process Seamless handoffs to the care team so every move-in day goes smoothly Qualifications Experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare admissions/marketing strongly preferred Understanding of (or willingness to learn) the unique needs of families navigating dementia and memory care decisions Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills Confidence and self-direction in external marketing and community outreach Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and empathy Proficiency with CRM or lead-tracking software (or ability to learn quickly) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular local travel What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Bonus opportunities tied to occupancy and referral development A supportive, mission-driven team environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Deeply meaningful work supporting seniors and their families How to Apply Please submit your resume.
