We are currently seeking an Industrial Controls Engineer/Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilties Modification, design, implementation support, and troubleshooting of both new and existing industrial automated control systems to ensure they are operating correctly, efficiently, and safely. Selection, troubleshooting, implementation support, and repairs of various automated systems, sensors, valves, relays, motor starters, VFD's, programmable logic controllers, actuators, HMI's, robotic system interfaces, robotic programming and program modification, and overall system integration management. Additional responsibilities would include assisting Plant Electricians and Millwrights with troubleshooting and implementation of various automated and mechanical systems as well as general Engineering, Manufacturing, & Quality Group support. Education, Experience, Skills, and Competencies High School diploma/GED equivalent required. Technical Certificate or Associates Degree In Industrial Automation / Controls or equivalent. Minimum 3 years related experience required. Ability to create, read, and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. Good prioritization and communication skills (oral and writing) required. Ability to Create, Read, And Use Ladder Code required. Experience with Allen Bradley Logix Platforms preferred. Work Environment Works in a variable single shift manufacturing environment with exposure to various electrical control panel systems, cutting operations, mechanical presses, roll forming equipment, and robotic cutting and press tending systems. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. May be required to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances daily. Routinely required to reach with hands and arms.
