Job Description
Overview This is a full-time role for a Measurement Technician responsible for the implementation and day-to-day operations of measurement processes at the field area level. The primary responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining measurement systems, installing, calibrating and monitoring meters and measurement devices, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring accuracy in data collection and reporting. Additional duties involve relief valve, isolation valve and meter tube inspections, flow control valve & maintenance, dump valve & positioner operation, and occasional one call line locate activity. Responsibilities Perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of gas measurement instruments using precision measuring instruments and schematics. Troubleshoot and repair sensors, flow meters, and other measurement devices, ensuring optimal performance. Interpret electrical diagrams, drawings, and control system schematics to diagnose issues effectively. Conduct inspections of low voltage systems, including calibration of sensors and calibration devices like pressure transmitters and gas analyzers . Utilize vision inspection to assure measurement accuracy and system integrity. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, calibration logs, and system modifications for compliance and reporting purposes. SCADA Communications and Troubleshooting. Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience working with Meters and Measurement Systems Proficiency in Calibration of equipment to ensure accurate data reporting Strong skills in Troubleshooting and resolving issues with measurement tools and systems Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in remote settings Working knowledge of energy or Natural Gas Midstream Operations is a plus Relevant certifications or technical training are beneficial Proficient with
