In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical and instrumentation systems critical to our operations. This position offers an opportunity to work with legacy and current technology in an environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement. Duties Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical instrumentation such as sensors, transducers, and control devices across manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot electrical systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and industrial automation equipment using diagnostic tools and calibration instruments. Read and interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), control panel layouts, and engineering drawings to support maintenance and installation activities. Program, configure, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and quality control systems (QCS) to optimize production efficiency. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical instrumentation and control equipment to minimize downtime. Diagnosing issues with high voltage or low voltage electrical systems while adhering to all safety standards. Requirements Trade school certificate, college degree, military training or equivalent. Proven experience in industrial instrumentation work with a strong foundation in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic systems, mechanical components, and industrial controls is essential. Familiarity with calibration procedures for sensors and precision measuring instruments used in industrial environments. Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, schematics, blueprints (including electrical blueprints), and engineering troubleshooting manuals confidently. Experience programming PLCs is highly desirable. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures related to high voltage and low voltage systems within manufacturing settings. Skilled in using instrumentation /electrical test equipment. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with industrial maintenance skills to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs efficiently. Prior experience working with sensors, electrical instrumentation, industrial automation components, process diagrams (P&IDs), schematics.
