This is a hands-on role. They are looking for someone who can program, commission and troubleshoot

BAS / HVAC

controls systems, work directly with customers and contractors, and help lead projects in the field. The company already has an established operation in other US markets, existing customers and work coming through. They now need someone strong technically who can help get this new location off the ground. In the beginning, you'll be heavily involved in the field yourself

• programming controls, commissioning systems, troubleshooting problems and making sure jobs are delivered properly.

As the market grows, you'll also help bring in and train technicians, oversee jobs and take more responsibility for the local operation. What they're looking for: Strong commercial HVAC controls / BAS experience BAS programming experience Niagara N4, Distech, Alerton, Siemens or similar platforms Programming controllers and sequences of operation Building graphics and setting up BAS systems BACnet and Modbus experience Startup and commissioning of HVAC controls systems Troubleshooting controls, electrical and communication issues Experience working with chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAVs, pumps and other commercial HVAC equipment Able to read control drawings, wiring diagrams and sequences Comfortable working directly with mechanical contractors, customers and commissioning teams Able to take a project from programming through startup and final handover Experience helping or training junior technicians is a plus Good understanding of the mechanical side of HVAC, not just controls This would suit someone currently working as a:
