Responsibilities:
Ability to read and understand a variety of electrical drawings and navigate via understanding of electrical symbols. Understanding of controls schematics, ladder diagrams, and relay logic. Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot low and high voltage controls and understanding of PLC input/outputs, terminology, software, relay logic, current paths, and electrical components. Ability to troubleshoot and navigate and adjust parameters on VFD's. Evaluate problems in an industrial/manufacturing environment and recommend possible solutions. Ability to work in tight confined spaces or elevated areas. Working knowledge of instrumentation devices such as O2 sensors, controls devices, and fiber optics installation/terminations. Lay out, thread and run ridged conduit. Cable tray layout and installation. The job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, and rain. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses always), respirator when required. Able to work 8 -10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts. Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required. Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
