Description CCSI is an independent factory authorized Automated Logic (ALC) Building Management Solution (BMS) provider and is looking for a BMS Systems Technician at our Lubbock and Abilene offices. The ideal candidate will have Building Automation Systems troubleshooting and installation experience for commercial HVAC systems and commercial mechanical HVAC experience. The ideal candidate has in-depth commercial mechanical HVAC systems experience and has a desire to be at the forefront of modern building automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides startup and commissioning of installed systems Creates As Built documentation from control submittals and wiring schematics Serves as a primary resource for product questions and product application information for end user customers Programs equipment controllers and provides start-up assistance for job site Technicians New product testing and vetting Investigates problems, develops solutions, and makes recommendations Commissions and modifies custom program modules and graphics in ALC's WebCTRL suite Attends, develops, constructs, and records training sessions and maintains technical proficiency on all issues that are applicable to our customers and industry Assists and coordinates the product warranty/returns process Travel within a defined territory is required.

Required Basic Qualifications:

5-10 years' experience in Commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Journeyman+ commercial Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems installation and maintenance. Solid HVAC mechanical background and systems knowledge. Experience working with past and present controls systems. Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing blueprints, specifications. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Self-motivated, can work independently or as a team member. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to problem solve and have basic "black box" logical thinking.

Preferred experience and qualifications:

Automated Logic WebCTRL system experience and training. Niagara AX and/or Tridium or Johnson Controls Metasys certifications a plus. Experience working with BACnet and/or Modbus. Strong knowledge of BAS and DDC Controls systems. Knowledge/experience tuning PID loops. Strong knowledge of and ability to read, understand and update controls system submittal drawings. Proficient with Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and modern technologies. Minimum Associates degree in HVAC, Electronics, Electrical Maintenance, Industrial Systems or 7+ years in the same.

•This role will be supporting projects at multiple levels in-office or on-site in the west Texas region area and beyond including Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland/Odessa, Abilene and San Angelo. This is an office and field role in our company headquarters in Lubbock and our satellite office in Abilene.
