In this role, you will be responsible for building, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical control systems across manufacturing and automation environments. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of electrical systems, sensors, instrumentation, and automation equipment, contributing to optimal plant performance and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge industrial controls and automation technology in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Build, Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical control systems including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), sensors, vision inspection systems, and distributed control systems (DCS). Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and calibration instruments to identify faults in electrical circuits and equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), blueprints, and control panel wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime. Conduct electrical safety procedures during maintenance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and protect team members. Assist in programming and troubleshooting industrial automation systems using engineering software such as Calypso or similar platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability through engineering troubleshooting and process optimization. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial electrician or controls technician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Knowledge of industrial controls including sensors, relays, motor drives, calibration devices, and low-voltage electrical systems. Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and industrial automation programming. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, calipers, and other calibration tools accurately. Strong mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, pneumatic components, hydraulic equipment, and mechanical maintenance procedures. Understanding of electrical safety procedures aligned with industry standards to ensure safe working conditions. Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and repair. Experience working with vision inspection systems or similar automation technologies is a plus. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
