Our Data Center Cooling team is looking for a Field Controls Technician to provide hands-on technical support for advanced HVAC and cooling systems serving critical customer applications. What You'll Do Travel to customer jobsites to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC and controls issues. Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians both remotely and onsite. Troubleshoot controls programs, HMI systems, and unit/system interfaces. Support new product development and testing at Munters facilities. Assist with prototype builds and provide feedback to Engineering and R&D teams. Participate in Kaizen and cross-functional continuous improvement projects. Support cost reduction and product improvement initiatives. Provide technical expertise to Field Service and other internal teams. Work independently while collaborating with Engineering, R&D, Service, and Operations. What We're Looking For Experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment and controls systems . Knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors, valves, fans, and heat exchangers. Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently. Experience with ERP/MRP or 3D CAD systems is a plus. Experience designing or working with complex assemblies, piping, valves, and heat exchangers is preferred. 3-5 years of industry experience and a Mechanical Engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Ability to travel to customer sites as required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in active industrial environments. Why Join Munters?
