Job Description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Electronics Technician/Low Voltage Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity in the Midlothian, VA area
PAY:
$28-$36/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS:
Shifts will be 8-hour workdays (Plus Overtime) 5 days per week
SCHEDULE
Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00 am-3:30 pm

Electronics Technician with experience in access control, low voltage systems, and electronic security installations Skilled in card access systems, Trilogy locks, CCTV, and intrusion detection Proven ability to perform new installations (65%) and maintenance/service work (35%) Works independently with strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards Committed to delivering reliable system performance and strong customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Experience:
2-5 years of experience in low voltage or electronic security systems installation and service Proficient in installing and servicing access control systems including card readers, door strikes, magnetic locks, and Trilogy lock systems Experience with low voltage cabling, terminations, and system integration for security platforms
Installation & Service:
Performed new system installations including layout, mounting, wiring, and device configuration
Access Control Systems:
Installed and maintained card entry systems and keyless entry hardware
System Integration:
Supported CCTV and intrusion detection system installations and upgrades
Troubleshooting:
Used diagnostic tools and software to identify system faults and restore functionality Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted Position requires the use of PPE, including: steel-toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves Must have standard low voltage/electrical hand tools Background and drug screen required DCJS License Required Additional Requirements for
Technician:
Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site
