Hours:

8AM

• 4:30PM, Overtime Requirements as work demands,

Some Weekend Pay:

Starts at $25 an hour but could be more based on experience

• Responsibilities
• As a Valve Technician, you will be responsible for the following, including, but not limited to: + Responsible for assembly of all automated packages + Follow all established standard operating procedures for valve automation including maintaining a safe and organized workspace and observing necessary safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage, and transfer of product + Follow all proper procedures for set up, use and maintenance of tools, and equipment in the automation center + Courteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales, management, and warehouse personnel + Professional interaction with customers when addressing questions and concerns about automated packages + Troubleshoot automated packages, in house and in the field, to perform necessary work and repairs + Assist with developing automated valve sales training program + Perform functional automated valve testing, record, and store data + Work closely with inspectors to meet customer demands + Willingness to travel up to 25% is required.

Travel may include overnight stays for field service projects and support at other Ferguson locations. + Maybe responsible forproviding driver duties and responsibilities

• Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will possess the following: + 3 to 5 years experience is preferred but not required + Mustbe at least 18 years old.

+ Validstate issuedlicense isrequired. + Basic knowledge of computers + Ability to read and understand customer technical data and schematics + Ability to multi-task and meet order deadlines + Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control + Be goal oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines, build relationships, and enjoy a team atmosphere + Possess a positive attitude + Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills + A self-motivator and have an ambition to succeed + Enthusiastic, courteous, and articulate + Ability to learn quickly At Ferguson, we care for each other. • $15.61
• $30.76
• _Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles_
• OR•_Hourly for all other roles.
