Your expertise will inspire and elevate our artistic community, contributing to exhibitions, workshops, and commercial projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated artist eager to push boundaries and make a lasting impact in the world of ceramics. Duties Create ceramic pieces, using both slip-cast and ready-to-use techniques. Experiment with surface decoration methods like painting, carving, and digital design integration to enhance visual appeal. Collaborate with others to ensure each step of the clay process is carried out correctly. Maintain a well-organized studio environment ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and safety standards are met. Requirements Proven experience in ceramic arts with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill and artistic versatility. Familiarity with surface decoration techniques including glaze application. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both craftsmanship and digital documentation. Extras (but not required) Knowledge with kiln loading and unloading. Familarity with slab rollers and pugmills

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
