Friday Availability:

3:00-7:00 PM Mission2Math is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable instructor to join our M2M Robotics & Coding STEM Lab , serving children ages 6-11. Our STEM Lab combines robotics, coding, and hands-on challenges that encourage students to build, test, and improve their ideas. As an instructor, you'll help students develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence while making learning engaging and fun. Responsibilities Guide students through robot builds, coding projects, and creative design challenges using Mission2Math's curriculum and materials. Help students follow instructions, troubleshoot problems, and explore solutions without doing the work for them. Manage a group of students working on different activities and skill levels, keeping everyone engaged, supported, and on task. Build positive relationships with students and maintain a welcoming, inclusive learning environment. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, celebrate accomplishments, and communicate with parents about their child's experience. Prepare materials, care for equipment, and keep the learning space safe and organized. Qualifications A genuine passion for working with children, with the patience and enthusiasm to make learning enjoyable. Experience with elementary-level robotics, building projects, or hands-on STEM activities. Familiarity with Scratch or other beginner coding platforms is a plus; willingness to learn is essential. Strong communication and group-management skills, including the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning needs. A self-motivated, dependable approach, with the ability to take initiative, collaborate with teammates, and apply feedback. Previous teaching, tutoring, or youth-program experience is preferred. What We Offer Training compensation starts at $18 per hour , increasing to $23 per hour after successfully completing STEM Instructor certification . Senior STEM Lab coaches are at the rate of $30 We provide structured training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for professional development.
