We are an established, locally owned fine art bronze foundry in Loveland, CO, since 1989. Join our dynamic team as a full time Fine Art Wax Department Technician, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will bring exquisite artworks to life! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and refining wax sculptures used in the creation of bronze fine art pieces. Your expertise will ensure that each sculpture meets the highest standards of quality and artistry. Knowledge of the lost wax bronze casting process and experience in a foundry are preferred, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right individual with an artistic background.
Job requirements:
Prepare and process wax materials for sculpture casting, ensuring proper consistency and quality. Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in the wax department. Utilize specific tools used on poured wax sculptures to correct imperfections or defects, making necessary adjustments or repairs. Collaborate with artists and technicians to refine sculptures and achieve desired artistic effects. Follow all safety protocols related to handling hot waxes and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Have reliable transportation to work. Ensure production deadlines are being met. Be a team player by communicating and working well with supervisor and coworkers. Be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs without assistance. Have excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for craftsmanship and quality control.
