Certified Lead Abatement Worker - Part-Time / On-Call We are seeking reliable Certified Lead Abatement Workers to join our team for upcoming lead abatement projects throughout Delaware. We are building a dependable crew for ongoing state-related projects expected to continue over the next several years. This position will initially be part-time/on-call and project-based , with the potential for consistent or full-time hours as projects are awarded. Because project schedules may vary, applicants should have some flexibility with availability.
Responsibilities:
Perform lead paint abatement and remediation work according to project requirements and safety regulations Follow all lead-safe work practices and containment procedures Properly use PPE and lead-abatement equipment Assist with setup, containment, cleanup, and disposal Follow instructions from the Lead Abatement Supervisor Maintain a clean and safe work environment Arrive on time and be dependable for scheduled projects
Requirements:
Current Lead Abatement Worker certification/credential required Must be legally eligible to perform lead abatement work in Delaware Knowledge of lead-safe work practices Construction, painting, demolition, remediation, or similar experience preferred Reliable transportation to job sites Dependable and able to work as part of a crew Must be able to perform physical construction-related work and use required
PPE Schedule:

Pay:
Starting around $25-$35 per hour , depending on experience, certifications, project requirements, and applicable prevailing-wage requirements. The ideal candidate will have the required Lead Abatement Supervisor certification/credentials and experience supervising lead abatement or environmental remediation projects.

Supervise lead abatement workers and daily job-site activities Ensure work is performed according to applicable Delaware requirements, project specifications, and lead-safe work practices Oversee containment, PPE, cleanup, and proper work procedures Assign duties and provide direction to crew members Monitor job-site safety and compliance Help maintain required job-site documentation Coordinate with company management regarding scheduling and project progress Ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, and efficiently
