From our professional studio and our custom-built Mercedes-Benz Sprinter mobile unit, we care for cars valued from $50,000 to well over $1,000,000 — using Koch Chemie professional chemistry, deionized water systems, steam sanitation, and heated extraction. We are growing toward aviation and marine detailing, and this role is the craftsmanship anchor of that growth. About the Role We are hiring a Manager, Lead Detailer — the most senior hands-on detailer in the company and the standard-setter for everyone we hire after you. You will deliver our most advanced services personally (Gold packages, paint correction, coating prep), sign off on quality for every vehicle that leaves our care, run the mobile unit in the field, and train and certify technicians through our five-phase Training & Certification Program. You report directly to the Owner and work alongside him daily. This is a working-lead role for a master of the craft who is ready to build a team in their image — not an office manager position. • Deliver flagship work: Gold-package restoration details, clay decontamination, machine polishing, extraction, engine bays, and ceramic-coating preparation on luxury and exotic vehicles.
• Own quality control: perform documented intake (photos, damage notation) and final QC inspection on every vehicle before delivery — nothing leaves without your sign-off.
• Run mobile operations: van opening/closing procedures, route readiness, on-site standards at client homes, offices, and marinas.
• Train and certify technicians: lead new hires through our five-phase program — chemicals, equipment, service SOPs, mobile field work — and coach the team daily.
• Keep the operation ready: chemical dilution and inventory standards, towel management, equipment care and troubleshooting, studio opening/closing.
• Protect the client experience: punctual, uniformed, discreet service for high-profile clients; immediate incident reporting; five-star review generation. Requirements (Conditions of Employment)
• 18 years of age or older with authorization to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participant).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check); insurable to operate client vehicles and the company Sprinter van.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check — we are a Florida Drug-Free Workplace.
• Able to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for full shifts, lift up to 30 lbs, and work outdoors in Miami heat with provided safety measures.
• Weekend availability; successful completion of a paid working interview and our certification program. Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of professional automotive detailing experience, including interior and exterior full details.
• Demonstrated machine-polishing ability (DA and/or rotary) and paint decontamination experience — you will polish a panel at the working interview.
• Experience operating professional equipment: pressure washers, steamers, and extractors.
• Ability to follow, teach, and enforce written SOPs and quality checklists.
• Professional communication skills and a clean, client-ready presentation. Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional detailing with a portfolio of luxury, exotic, or collector vehicle work.
• Multi-stage paint-correction mastery and certified ceramic-coating installation experience (Koch Chemie, Gtechniq, CarPro, IGL or similar).
• Experience leading, training, or mentoring other detailers, or running a mobile detailing operation.
• Familiarity with DI/spot-free water systems, TDS monitoring, and field service software (Jobber or similar).
• Hospitality or luxury-service background and comfort working around high-profile clientele.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; IDA certification (CD-SV) a plus; marine or aviation detailing exposure a plus.
