The ideal candidate will have excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a proven ability to handle fine art with the highest level of care. Responsibilities Custom picture framing, including design and fabrication. Archival and conservation-quality framing. Chop and join wood and specialty frames. Mat cutting using a Wizard CMC . Frame and mat design using LifeSaver software. Proper handling, preparation, and installation of fine art. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Ensure all framing projects meet high standards for quality, accuracy, and presentation. Qualifications Prior professional framing experience is required. Strong experience with custom and archival framing techniques. Proficiency with a Wizard CMC and LifeSaver design software. Experience chopping and joining frames. Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. Strong emphasis on the proper handling and protection of fine art. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while maintaining quality standards. Fine-art experience is highly valued. This position requires someone who understands that the handling and preservation of artwork is as important as the finished frame.
