Job Description

Spellbound Village / Distortion | Hampton, GA We are seeking a Scenic Artist / Themed Finisher capable of taking newly constructed and freshly painted objects and making them look like they've existed for decades, centuries, or through the zombie apocalypse. Projects span multiple Distortion worlds. Spellbound Village requires aged colonial wood, weathering, soot, grime and historical texture. Quieten Labs may require rusted metal, corrosion, industrial wear, contamination effects and distressed laboratory surfaces. Responsibilities include faux finishing, aging, distressing, rust effects, washes, dry brushing, grime, wood aging, texture and other theatrical finishing techniques. The ideal candidate understands an important themed-entertainment paradox: The carpenters make it new. The painters make it clean. Your job is occasionally to ruin all their beautiful work until it looks perfect.
