Job Description

Private Homeschool Teacher
  • Family Farm Thomasville/Grady County, GA Area School Hours:
    9:00 AM

PM Pay:
$100 per day Affordable on-site housing may be available We are looking for a dependable and caring private homeschool teacher to teach a small group of five children and grandchildren in a family homeschool setting on our approximately 90-acre recreational farm. Our homeschool program is Christian and Bible-centered, with Bible study included as part of the children's education. We want to combine strong academics with practical, hands-on learning.
Duties include:
  • Reading, writing, math, science, and history
  • Bible study
  • Working with children of different ages
  • Gardening and outdoor education
  • Cooking and basic home-economics skills
  • Sewing and other practical life skills when experience allows
  • Educational field trips
  • Using the farm, ponds, woods, gardens, and animals for hands-on learning We welcome applications from teachers, substitute teachers, retired teachers, experienced homeschool educators, and others with strong experience educating children.
We are looking for someone who is patient, dependable, organized, good with children, and comfortable teaching within a Christian homeschool curriculum and environment. Schedule & Pay 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM — $100 per day. This is a five-hour school day. Exact teaching days can be discussed. For the right person, affordable on-site housing with utilities included may be available.
