Ceramic Artist & Studio Associate We're looking for a creative, knowledgeable, and personable Ceramic Artist & Studio Associate to join our pottery studio! This position is perfect for someone who loves ceramics, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of a creative studio environment. About the Position As a Ceramic Artist & Studio Associate, you'll help with the day-to-day operation of our pottery studio and retail space. You'll work with customers, assist with ceramic classes, sell pottery and ceramic supplies, and help keep the studio organized and welcoming. Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchasing handmade pottery, clay, ceramic tools, and other studio supplies
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about clay, glazes, tools, and ceramic techniques
• Assist with running and organizing ceramic classes and workshops
• Help students during classes with basic ceramic techniques and studio procedures
• Operate and maintain the pottery studio and retail area
• Keep studio workspaces, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Help receive, organize, and maintain clay and ceramic supply inventory
• Assist with displaying, pricing, and selling finished pottery
• Provide friendly and welcoming customer service
• Help create a positive, creative community within the studio Qualifications We're looking for someone who:
• Has some previous experience with ceramics or pottery, kiln experience pref but not required.
• Understands basic ceramic materials, tools, clay bodies, glazing, and firing processes
• Is comfortable helping and communicating with beginner ceramic students
• Enjoys customer service and working with the public
• Is dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Is willing to help with both the creative and everyday operational sides of a pottery studio
• Has a genuine enthusiasm for ceramics and continuing to learn Teaching experience and retail experience are a plus, but not necessarily required.
