Production Description:

Busy high volume custom picture frame shop seeks production help in Somerville, MA. Duties could include matting and hinging works on paper, textile and jersey sewing, fitting matted artwork into frames, sizing glass and acrylic, packing and shipping, and quality control. Prior frame shop experience or artwork handing required. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid holidays, sick, and vacation time, health and dental insurance, and 401k with a generous match.

Qualifications:

Previous picture framing experience. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to measure accurately to the 16ths. Strong attention to detail. Excellent work ethic and problem solving skills. Ability to handle fragile and large works of art. Ability to work as part of a team.
