The Frame Center is looking for a part-time Custom Picture Framer to join our team. We're looking for an experienced framer who takes pride in quality craftsmanship , works carefully and efficiently, and enjoys the hands-on process of creating custom frames. Responsibilities Cut and join moulding to create custom frames. Cut mats and prepare glass, backing and other framing materials. Mount and fit artwork, photographs, memorabilia and other pieces. Complete finishing and fitting of framed projects. Carefully handle artwork and customers' valuable and personal items. Work from approved designs and specifications with attention to detail. Keep the production area clean, organized and efficient. Qualifications Previous professional custom picture framing experience is required. Experience with mat cutting, frame joining, mounting and fitting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good measuring and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using framing tools and equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and committed to quality workmanship. Part-time, in-person position in Smithtown, NY.

Pay:

From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
