Part-Time (Approx. 20 hours/week) | Hybrid ScheduleI. Role OverviewForget everything you know about "making candy." As a Custom Candy Specialist forPapabubble Utah, you aren't just a kitchen hand, you re a creator, a performer, and a foundingmember of our Salt Lake City team. You ll be taking raw, molten sugar and transforming it intointricate, hand-sculpted art right in front of a crowd. This is a high-skill, hybrid role for someonewho loves to work with their hands and has "main character energy." You ll spend your timebetween our Open Lab at the commissary, experimenting with new Utah-inspired flavors, andhigh-end events where you lead the "theatre" of our candy-making show.

The Houston Deep-Dive:
Complete a mandatory, fully-paid 2-week intensive residency inHouston, Texas, to learn the secret Papabubble chemistry: boiling, cooling, and stretchingsugar at exact temperatures.
Skill Progression:
Move from apprentice to specialist by perfecting the hand-rolling andprecision-cutting techniques that define our global brand.2. The Theatre of Candy (Live Events)
Performance Art:
Lead live demonstrations at corporate parties and festivals, engagingwith crowds while handling molten sugar with grace and speed.
Brand Ambassador:
Act as a founding ambassador, ensuring our mobile setup and"theatre" look as premium as the product itself.3. The "Open Lab" (Innovation & Prep)
Creative R D:
Collaborate on dedicated "Open Lab" days at the designated CommissaryKitchen to experiment with "Utah-only" flavor drops and custom shapes.
The Foundation:
Handle essential prep work and maintain a "clean-room" environmentfor high-end production in compliance with Utah Health Department regulations.
Intellectual Property & Confidentiality:
All recipes, techniques, processes, designs,formulations, and operational methods learned during training or developed in the course of employment (including during any Open Lab activities) are the exclusive property ofPapabubble Global and/or its licensed operators. Employees agree not to use, disclose,reproduce, or commercialize any such intellectual property, in whole or in part, outside oftheir role without prior written consent. This obligation continues after termination ofemployment.4.
Setup & Logistics Equipment Handling:
Manage the transportation, setup, and teardown of specializedportable candy-making equipment (heating/cooling tables, tools, and ingredients).
Maintenance:
Responsible for the proper care and sanitation of all mobile cartequipment.
Marketing and Brand Presence:
Own the execution of Papabubble s brand presenceacross all events and activations. Ensure all signage, setup, and visual elements meetbrand standards and are consistently presented at a high level of quality. Maintain aclean, engaging, and premium customer experience at every touchpoint. Support localmarketing efforts by identifying event opportunities, coordinating promotions, and helpingdrive visibility and demand in the market.

III. Training & CommitmentBecause this role requires a high level of specialized skill, Papabubble Utah, LLC makes asignificant investment in your professional development:
Paid Residency:
Papabubble Utah covers all upfront costs for airfare and lodging for the2-week Houston training.
One-Year Commitment:
This role requires a minimum one-year commitment. A TrainingReimbursement Agreement (Promissory Note) is required; training costs are forgivenmonthly over the first 12 months of employment.

IV. Schedule & Physical RequirementsWe utilize a hybrid scheduling model to balance production needs with our event-basedbusiness:

Component Hours DetailsCore Production 10 Hours/Week Guaranteed hours at thecommissary for prep, R D, andinventory.

Event Shifts 10 Hours (Avg) Flexible shifts based on festivaland corporate event schedules.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for 6+ hours and possess the manual dexterity andupper-body strength required for pulling and stretching large batches of sugar (up to 50lbs).V. Who You Are You have "Creator Status", a background in fine arts, glass-blowing, or pastry arts ispreferred.

Must possess (or obtain) a valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.
