Amarillo, Arlington, San Antonio and Austin, TX Position Summary Seeking an experienced and dependable instructor to provide hands-on training in basic craft labor and skilled trades skills for apprentices and entry-level workers. Training will include construction fundamentals, tool usage, jobsite safety, and workforce readiness. This position is expected to begin as a full-time role for the first 3-4 months during active enrollment and program setup, then gradually transition into a flexible part-time schedule throughout the year based on student enrollment and training demand. Responsibilities Teach basic craft labor and construction skills Demonstrate safe use of tools and equipment Reinforce OSHA and jobsite safety standards Support and mentor apprentices and trainees Qualifications 3+ years of construction or skilled trades experience Initial 3-4 months full-time, transitioning into a flexible part-time schedule throughout the calendar year Strong communication and leadership skills OSHA knowledge preferred Prior teaching or mentoring experience is a plus Compensation Compensation will be competitive and based on Collective Bargaining Agreements which vary by location and type of work, and current market conditions.
