Key Responsibilities As a Shop Hand, your role spans shop production, surface preparation, and site installation.

Your primary duties will include:

Assembly & Hardware Fitting:

Assisting with custom cabinetry assembly and attaching hardware during shop production cycles.

Sanding & Surface Preparation:

Performing thorough wood sanding and scuffing between coats to prepare surfaces for optimal paint and stain adhesion.

On-Site Installation Support:

Joining installers at active residential job sites to assist with staging, fitting, and installing custom units.

Painter Help & Finishing Support:

Assisting the finishing team with surface masking, spray equipment prep/cleanup, and supporting painting and staining operations as needed.

Trailer Loading & Shop Maintenance:

Safely loading and staging tools and cabinetry components onto company trailers for transport, while keeping shop work areas clean, organized, and safe. Qualifications & Experience We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong attention to detail and a pride in craft.

Key qualifications include:

Required Experience:

Practical experience with custom cabinetry assembly, wood sanding/surface preparation, and on-site installation support.

Preferred Experience:

Prior background as a painter helper, finishing assistant, or experience with spray prep and masking is preferred (nice-to-have).

Strong work ethic, reliability, ability to safely handle tools and materials, and a collaborative mindset.
