Job Overview Kim's Olympic Martial Arts (KOMA) is looking for a dedicated and motivated Part-Time Taekwondo Instructor / Assistant Manager to join our growing dojang in Katy, TX. We are looking for someone who is not simply looking for a short-term job, but someone who wants to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in martial arts. The ideal candidate is responsible, dependable, positive, and enjoys working with children and families. You will work closely with our instructors and Grand Master Kim to teach Taekwondo classes, help students develop discipline and confidence, and support the daily operations of the dojang. For the right person, there is an opportunity to take on greater responsibilities and eventually transition into a full-time position as our program continues to grow. If you have a long-term goal of someday running your own Taekwondo school, we are happy to help you learn and develop the skills needed to build a successful dojang. Qualifications Taekwondo experience and a Black Belt are strongly preferred Previous experience teaching or working with children is preferred Strong communication and people skills Responsible, dependable, and punctual Positive attitude and professional appearance Ability to work as part of a team Willingness to learn and take on responsibility Must enjoy working with children and be comfortable communicating with parents Leadership or coaching experience is a plus

Pay:

$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 13.0 - 17.0 per week
