Job Description

Paint & Finishing Lead Location:
Orem, UT Schedule:
Monday-Thursday | 4:00 PM - 3:30
AM Pay:
DOE Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support a team of 6-8 Paint & Finish Technicians while ensuring daily production goals are met. Coordinate daily staffing, shift assignments, and production priorities to keep work flowing efficiently. Review production schedules and ensure the correct stains, sealers, lacquers, and paint products are prepared. Mix and apply stains, sealers, lacquers, and wet paint while maintaining high-quality finishing standards. Monitor product quality, troubleshoot finishing issues, and implement corrective actions. Train and cross-train team members on safety, quality, and finishing processes. Maintain inventory of paints, stains, and finishing materials. Partner with production leadership to improve efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. Ensure all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are followed throughout the shift. Qualifications Previous lead or supervisory experience in a paint, finishing, or manufacturing environment. Strong hands-on experience with wet paint, stain, sealer, and lacquer application. Experience in furniture, cabinetry, automotive, or industrial finishing is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and lead by example in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Must be clean-shaven to wear a full-face respirator. Ability to wear a full-face respirator throughout the shift. Steel-toed shoes required. Overtime required based on production needs. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. #INDSLC
