Job Description
Woodshop Craftsperson - Full or Part Time Clore Furniture | Madison, VA Do you enjoy working with your hands? Have woodworking skills—or want to learn? Do you find satisfaction in hard work, creativity, and seeing tangible results at the end of the day? If so, we'd love to meet you. Clore Furniture is a small, family-owned business in Madison, Virginia, handcrafting high-quality solid wood furniture since the 1830s. We're seeking full- or part-time craftspeople to join our shop and work alongside some of the finest skilled artisans in the trade. General Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Cutting, ripping, and planing lumber
- Sanding and surface preparation
- Assembly and finishing
- Assisting in multiple areas of the shop as needed Because we are a small shop, employees may be trained in more than one area.
