Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Woodworking Molder Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating molding machines to shape and finish wood components according to precise specifications. Your expertise in woodworking, mechanical operations, and blueprint interpretation will ensure the production of high-quality millwork and composite materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and safety are top priorities. Duties Operate woodworking molding machines to produce custom wood profiles and millwork components, ensuring adherence to blueprint specifications. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to set up machines and guide production processes. Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers to perform precise dimensional measurements for quality control. Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, including materials handling of wood, composite materials, and finished products. Follow safety protocols diligently while operating machinery and handling materials to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct routine maintenance on molding equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform minor repairs as needed. Support assembly processes by applying carpentry skills and ensuring finished products meet quality standards through measurement and inspection. Requirements Proven experience with woodworking, millwork, or manufacturing environments involving composite materials. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measurement instruments such as tape measures for quality control purposes. Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse experience is preferred for efficient materials handling. Strong understanding of shop math principles necessary for dimensional measurements and quality assessments. Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously while operating machinery or handling materials in a manufacturing setting. Basic carpentry skills combined with machining knowledge to support assembly tasks when required.
