FUN OUTDOOR SUMMER PAINTING JOB

Job Overview Romanek Painting is hiring motivated individuals for our 2026 summer exterior painting crew in the Milwaukee and Wauwatosa area. This is a full-time, paid outdoor summer position running May through August — perfect for students, recent grads, or anyone who wants to work hands-on outside with a great team and actually earn real money. No prior painting experience required. We provide full-on-the-job training in prep work, painting techniques, ladder safety, and teamwork. Why You'll Like This Job $16 - $22/hr (performance-based — hard workers earn more) Bi-weekly pay and bi-weekly performance reviews 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday Paid on-the-job training — no painting experience needed All hand tools, power tools, paint, and equipment provided Work outside every day with a high-energy crew Crew chief positions available with additional pay Long weekends once or twice a month Real advancement path — branch managers earn $25,000+ the following summer Work for a cool boss (a local college student, not a corporation) Duties Prepare exterior residential surfaces through cleaning, sanding, scraping, and caulking Apply primer and paint to siding, trim, doors, and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Follow crew chief's direction and job site safety standards Work safely on ladders at various heights Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and basic prep work Contribute to team goals and job site quality standards Requirements Must be 18 years or older Reliable transportation (car or truck) Willing to work full-time, 40 hours/week Comfortable working outdoors in the heat and on ladders Good communication skills Reliable and shows up on time Willing to work hard and learn Strong work ethic and positive attitude No experience? No problem. A background in construction, landscaping, manual labor, or any hands-on work is a plus but not required — enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
